Agreement

By agreeing to have us work on your devices or equipment, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand, and agree to the computer repair terms and conditions agreement below. You agree to these terms even if you have not signed.

You Agree to These Repair Terms & Conditions

BY SIGNING THE WORK ORDER OR ACCEPING OF OUR LABOR YOU AGREE TO THESE REPAIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

You have requested service from Valley TechPros, to diagnose and service your device or equipment for a fee as set forth in the estimate/work order provided. A “device or equipment” can mean Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet, Server, PC, Xbox, PlayStation, camera, printer, fax machine, stereo, tv, monitor or any electronic device or system we check in and agree to work on. 

 

PC, Mac & Computer Repair Warranty

Valley TechPros provides a 30-day warranty for all labor on our computer repairs and NEW parts.

If your problem is not resolved we can repair or replace the defective parts within 30 days of pickup.

Once the computer has left our possession new or old viruses are not covered under our warranty and will be considered a new repair.

If after a repair, you experience problems which were not originally disclosed to prior to the initial repair, the problem is classified as new and unrelated and not covered by our guarantee.

 

Phone, Tablet & Portable Device Warranty

Valley TechPros offers a lifetime warranty from defects on most Mobile Phone & Tablet parts.

All repairs and parts not covered under the lifetime Warranty are backed by our 30 day guarantee.

Mobile Parts

  • Lifetime warranty covers only manufacturer defects/workmanship, and does not include cracks or incidental damages
  • Parts must be purchased from Valley TechPros

Zero-Cycle Batteries

  • 1 Year warranty on defective batteries
  • Batteries must be purchased from Valley TechPros
  • We do not cover damage caused by using low quality or improper chargers.

 

Standard Mobile Batteries

  • 6 month warranty on defective batteries
  • Batteries must be purchased from Valley TechPros
  • We do not cover damage caused by using low quality or improper chargers.

 

Other Electronics Warranty

All other electronic devices not classified as PC, Mac, Tablets, Phones or Portable Device are covered under our Electronics Warranty.

Electronics are covered by a 15 day warranty. Parts do not come with a warranty of any kind as most are used / refurbished parts. 

 

Refurbished & Used  Parts

We do not warranty used or refurbished parts.

 

Replacement Parts

All parts will be replaced with like or similar parts. Store credit or cash will not be given.

 

We reserve the right to refuse any warranty claim

Data recovery, backup services & devices with liquid damage are exempt from any warranty or guarantee even after repair or service.

 

Manufacturer Warranty

Some services may void your manufacturer’s warranty. Some manufacturers provide exemptions for professional repair shops, though we cannot guarantee in any way that yours will, nor do we have a list of manufacturers who do provide such exceptions.  Any repairs or modifications to iPhones and other Apple Products WILL void your warranty. You understand and agree that we are not held liable for voiding your devices manufacturers warranty.

 

Liability

Valley TechPros is not responsible for any data loss or hardware failure while in our possession. Please backup all data if possible. We are not responsible for any damage to the computer that happened prior to and after your repair.

 

Protection of Data

Valley TechPros does not guarantee the protection of your personal data. We do not store your personal data. All data is destroyed after your device or equipment is picked up. Valley TechPros DOES NOT service HIPPA, Government or Computers containing Social security numbers. It is your responsibility to inform us if you fall under these classifications.

 

Bench Fee

A Minimum $65 bench fee will be applied to all  Computer, PC, Mac & Electronic.

A Minimum $95 bench fee will be applied to all iMac’s & All-In-One computers that are oppened. 

A Minimum$50 bench fee will be applied to all Phones, Tablets & Mobile Devices

Devices will not be released unless the bench fee has been paid.

*Item that are deemed unrepairable will not be subject to a bench fee.

Free Basic Diagnostics

Valley TechPros offers free in person diagnostics on all devices. A basic free diagnostics is any diagnostics that is under 5 min or less and can be performed in front of the customer.

If diagnostics can not be performed with the customer present the device will be subject to the applicable bench fee rate.

 

 On-Site / Remote Support

A MINIMUM of $65 per hour will be billed for all work done via remote support or on customers premises.

Payments

All services must be paid in full before items will be returned. We do not offer payment plans.

Any Parts that must be special ordered must be paid for in advance. 

Payment for On-Site / Remote support must be paied within 30 days.A 10% late fee will be applied for every 30 days past due. 90 days past due will result in any open invoices being turned over to a collection agency

Refunds

Valley TechPros does not issue refunds. All payments are final

 

Abandonment

Devices or equipment  left longer than 30 calendar days after the repair is completed are considered abandoned and become the property of Valley TechPros. If you wish to gain your property back you will be required to pay you current balance plus 15% of the repair cost of $50 whichever is greater. There is no guarantee the device or equipment will be available after 30 calendar days.

 

Legal/Arbitration

This agreement shall be construed under the laws of the State of North Dakota. In the event any dispute arises under this agreement or in any manner concerning the subject matter thereof, the parties agree that any such dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration only, and the customer expressly waives any and all rights they may have to otherwise proceed with such dispute resolution in a court of law. Any and all binding arbitration proceedings shall be undertaken as “fast track” proceedings and shall only be commenced in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. Each party shall bear its own costs and expenses of such proceedings, including any and all resulting attorney fees; provided, however, that the prevailing party in such proceedings may have the right to recover attorney fees against the opposing party if such fees are otherwise recoverable in disputes of that type under the laws of the State of North Dakota. This paragraph is intended to be and shall be construed as a forum selection clause, and the parties agree to bound hereto.
